How can I build my business support networks?
The Value of the Network
No matter how well connected you think you are, there is always room for improving your network when it comes to growing your business. Particularly as a woman in business who is not afraid to ask for directions, having an extensive, diversified support network can contribute significantly to progress when you know who to ask what and they are quick with a qualified response.
Below are various networks, conferences and other events that are available to specifically support or recognize your efforts as a woman in business. A word of caution, however, is that networking is all about relationships and all relationships are not for everyone. Be sure to qualify and test what networks work for you in this regard, so that you use your time efficiently and maximize return on such an investment.
